01 - The Context

Challenge

Many Moons already had a distinctive proposition: bespoke luxury travel made personal, approachable and effortless.

The opportunity was not to replace that identity, but to explore how it could be expressed through a more structured and immersive digital experience.

Luxury travel websites can attract attention with exceptional photography while still making it difficult for visitors to understand what makes the service different. The homepage therefore needed to balance aspiration with clarity—communicating the feeling of the trips while also explaining the personal expertise, planning process and added value behind them.

The concept needed to answer four questions as visitors moved through the page:

  • Who are Many Moons?
  • What makes its approach different?
  • What kinds of experiences can it create?
  • Why should a traveller trust the team with an important trip?

As an independent portfolio project, the additional challenge was to preserve the recognisable personality of the existing brand while demonstrating how stronger hierarchy, pacing and interaction could elevate its digital presence.

02 - The Work

Approach

I began by recreating the existing homepage structure inside Webflow.

This was treated as a form of visual research rather than simply copying the surface design. Rebuilding each section made it possible to understand how the brand used typography, photography, messaging and movement before deciding where the experience could be refined.

The homepage was then organised around a more deliberate narrative:

  • establish the promise of bespoke modern travel;
  • introduce the people and principles behind the consultancy;
  • explain the Many Moons difference;
  • create a visual transition into the holiday experience;
  • showcase destinations and properties currently inspiring the team;
  • reinforce trust through detailed client testimonials.

The visual direction combines expressive typography, generous spacing and destination-led imagery to create a premium experience without making the brand feel corporate or inaccessible.

Large statements give the page confidence, while more intimate supporting copy preserves the conversational personality of the business. Sections are given enough space to create anticipation, allowing visitors to absorb the atmosphere rather than being presented with every message at once.

Webflow was used to turn the concept into a responsive working homepage rather than a static design. Reusable classes, structured spacing and scalable components were introduced so the visual system could eventually expand into the five planned core pages: Home, About, Services, How It Works and Contact.

Movement is used to support discovery. Image transitions, horizontal destination content and restrained reveals introduce energy while keeping the focus on the photography and message.

03 - The Outcome

Results

The outcome is a working homepage concept that presents Many Moons as a more cohesive and digitally distinctive luxury travel brand.

Rather than relying on destination photography alone, the experience connects the imagery to a clear narrative. Visitors are introduced to the company, shown how its approach differs, invited to imagine the possibilities and then reassured through the experiences of previous travellers.

The rebuilt structure gives every part of the story a defined purpose. Brand messaging is easier to follow, destination content feels more curated and testimonials become part of the decision-making journey rather than an isolated collection of reviews.

The concept also establishes the beginnings of a scalable Webflow system. The typography, spacing and recurring components can support additional service, process, destination and contact pages without requiring the visual direction to be reinvented.

Because this was a self-initiated concept rather than commissioned client work, no commercial performance or conversion results are claimed. The project instead demonstrates the strategic, creative and technical direction Lazaro London can bring to an established travel brand.
